Indian discovery uses Apple’s public iTunes Search API and Apple Music’s India most-played RSS feed. No API key or paid subscription is required for metadata and official links. Publish this draft, search Arijit Singh with India selected, then run the connection check. No paid billing is enabled.

1. Create a free developer application with Jamendo and review its API terms.

2. Add JAMENDO_CLIENT_ID in the platform’s backend Secrets panel. Never enter a key in the frontend.

3. After accepting the terms, publish the draft. Adding JAMENDO_CLIENT_ID enables Jamendo; no extra enable flag or client secret is required. Search Jamendo for Indian, Hindi or Bollywood independent recordings. This does not unlock mainstream film songs.

Playback & licensing limits

CYRA cannot play every commercial song. Apple results are links only. Openverse indexes third-party media: check the linked original license, especially before commercial use. Jamendo’s free API is for non-commercial apps and its published allowance is up to 35,000 requests per month; verify your account’s current limits. No audio downloads, DRM workarounds, ads, or paid billing are enabled.

Your library & privacy

Playlists, favorites, queue, and listening history are saved in the built-in key-value store under a random device-linked identifier. This is not an authenticated private account. Do not put sensitive information in playlist names. Clearing browser storage disconnects this device from its library. For private cross-device accounts, enable Authentication in Add-ons. A managed relational database requires Pro; you can also connect Supabase for free from the Database panel.
